Onion Tomato Sandwich
Hungry!!! Want some easy sandwiches recipe? Here it is from my experiments; 2 days back I made this and it’s so yummy; I just love it and now its goes on my little hunger quick meal list. This is best sandwich for vegetarian person. I used unsalted homemade butter in this sandwich but you can buy it from market and use.

- Brown or whole grain bread - 4 slices
- Onion (प्याज) - 1 small
- Tomato (टमाटर) - 1 small
- Unsalted butter - 4 tbsp. (chilled)
- Red chilli flakes (लाल मिर्च के दाने) to taste.
- Black pepper (काली मिर्च) powder to taste.
- Black salt to taste.
- In an electric toaster toast the bread slices.
- In the meanwhile thin slice onion (प्याज) & tomato (टमाटर).
- Take toasted bread slices and triangle cut them.
- Now take 4 piece of triangle cut bread slice and place them in a flat surface or a plate.
- Grate unsalted chilled butter and spread half of it over these slices.
- Layer onion (प्याज) & tomato (टमाटर) slices over grated unsalted chilled butter.
- Sprinkle red chilli flakes (लाल मिर्च के दाने), black pepper (काली मिर्च) powder & black salt as per your taste.
- After this spread left over grated unsalted chilled butter and cover each with left toasted triangle bread slices.
- Place them in a microwave and heat for 30 seconds, flip and heat for another 30 seconds.
- Your Onion Tomato Sandwich is ready; enjoy it with any sauce or as it with your tea, coffee or milk.
• If you don’t have electric toaster you can heat bread over tawa on slow flame until both side golden brown. This will take 10-15 minutes to toast bread slices.
• You can use salted butter or any cheese but with salted butter please remove black salt or add very little salt. Any cheese is your choice but unsalted butter goes best with this sandwich.
