Vanilla Strawberry Trifle

Trifle is an English cuisine dessert made with fruits, custard, sponge cake and whipped cream. Its up-to you if you want to exclude anything from you trifle as like me, here I did not use any sponge cake. Some trifles have wine soaked sponge cake, as I am not an alcoholic person so I did not use any wine soaked sponge cake. This trifle is made up without using sponge cake but you can use sponge cake layer without soaking it in wine, if you want.

Vanilla Strawberry Trifle

Trifle is an English cuisine dessert made with fruits, custard, sponge cake and whipped cream.



  • Separately mix both vanilla and strawberry custard powder in 2 tbsp. milk each. Make sure there is no lump in this mixture. Keep aside.
  • Boil 1 cup of milk (दूध).
  • When milk boils, simmer the heat; stir vanilla milk mix once and pour it into boiling milk. Keep stirring for 1/2 minute and turn off the gas. Keep aside.
  • Repeat step 2-3 for strawberry milk mix.
  • Now your vanilla and strawberry custard is prepared. Let them cool to room temperature.
  • In between prepare your fruits. Finely chop almonds (बादाम). Keep aside.
  • Slice kiwi (कीवी), strawberry (स्ट्रॉबेरी), banana (केला) and sapodilla (चीकू). Keep aside.
  • When your custards cool enough star layering.
  • Take 2 cocktail glasses or dessert glass bowl.
  • On each bowl start with sapodilla (चीकू) layer it on the base, over it layer banana (केला).
  • Then add vanilla custard, over it sprinkle chopped almonds (बादाम) and add 1/2 – 1/2 tbsp. honey (शहद) on each.
  • Now layer strawberry (स्ट्रॉबेरी), over it adds strawberry custard.
  • Next layer kiwi (कीवी), over it adds 2 tbsp. whipped cream.
  • Refrigerate for 15-20 minutes and serve chill.


  • If you want more sweeten trifle then add 1/2 tbsp. honey (शहद) in each custard after adding custard milk mix.
  • You can replace honey (चीनी) with sugar (चीनी) but honey (शहद) is healthier then sugar (चीनी) and also gave good taste.
