Whenever you take soup in a restaurant and they add croutons in your soup, you love that little crunch in your soup and you think how they make this, I want to make it at home but how? Here is the answer, making croutons at home is very easy and not require too much ingredients. I am use to make croutons at home for my soups. Here in this recipe I use brown bread taking health point, you can use any bread.

How to Make Croutons?

minutesCroutons are easy to make at home with only 2 ingredients.
Ingredients
Brown bread – 2 slices
Oil (ΰ€€ΰ₯ΰ€²) as much required.
Directions
- Method 1 (Shallow Fry):
- Dice cut brown bread slices.
- Spray/sprinkle oil in a non-sticky pan(make sure pan is fully coated with oil) and heat it.
- Now lay dices cut bread slices over this heated pan and spray/sprinkle more oil over it so bread pieces fully coated with oil.
- Cook simmer for 2-3 minutes until turn crispy and golden brown.
- Flip and cook more 2-3 minutes to make other side crispy and golden brown.
- Turn off the gas and take out croutons in a plate top up with paper napkin.
- Your croutons are ready now; enjoy them with your yummy hot soup, salad, starter or side dish.
- Method 2 (Deep Fry):
- Dice cut brown bread slices.
- Heat oil in a pan or wok.
- Add dice cut bread slices and deep fry until golden brown.
- Turn off the gas and take out croutons in a plate top up with paper napkin.
- Your croutons are ready now; enjoy them with your yummy hot soup, salad, starter or side dish.
