minutesStir Fry Broccoli tasty and healthy main course meal. Very easy to make; can go perfect as a main meal or diet salad.
Ingredients
Broccoli (เคฌเฅเคฐเฅเคเคฒเฅ) – ยฝ kg
Potato (เคเคฒเฅ) – 2 medium
Onion (เคชเฅเคฏเคพเค) – 2 medium
Tomato (เคเคฎเคพเคเคฐ) – 2 medium
Ginger (เค เคฆเคฐเค) – 1 inch
Garlic (เคฒเคนเคธเฅเคจ) – 5 cloves
Green Chilli (เคนเคฐเฅ เคฎเคฟเคฐเฅเค) – 1
Cumin Seeds (เคเฅเคฐเคพ) – 1 tbsp.
Turmeric (เคนเคฒเฅเคฆเฅ) Powder – 1 tbsp.
Black Pepper (เคเคพเคฒเฅ เคฎเคฟเคฐเฅเค) Powder – 1/2 tbsp.
Chat Masala – โ tbsp.
Cooking Mustard Oil (เคธเคฐเคธเฅเค เคเคพ เคคเฅเคฒ) – 6 tbsp.
Salt (เคจเคฎเค) as per taste.
Directions
- Wash peel and dice cut potatoes (เคเคฒเฅ). Keep aside in the water.
- Wash and cut broccoli (เคฌเฅเคฐเฅเคเคฒเฅ). Keep aside.
- Wash peel onions (เคชเฅเคฏเคพเค), ginger (เค เคฆเคฐเค), garlic (เคฒเคนเคธเฅเคจ) and finely chop them. Keep aside.
- Wash and chop chilies and tomatoes (เคเคฎเคพเคเคฐ). Keep aside.
- In a heavy-based pan heat 2 tbsp. mustard oil (เคธเคฐเคธเฅเค เคเคพ เคคเฅเคฒ) and stir fry diced cut potatoes (เคเคฒเฅ) till little golden brown. Sprinkle some salt (เคจเคฎเค) over them while stir frying to get a good golden colour.
- Take out the stir fried potatoes (เคเคฒเฅ) on a plate. Keep aside.
- Into the same oil (เคคเฅเคฒ) pan stir fry broccoli (เคฌเฅเคฐเฅเคเคฒเฅ) by sprinkling some salt (เคจเคฎเค) over it, till it’s tender a bit. Don’t cook broccoli (เคฌเฅเคฐเฅเคเคฒเฅ) completely here.
- Take out stir fried broccoli (เคฌเฅเคฐเฅเคเคฒเฅ) into a plate. Keep aside.
- Now in the same pan add cumin seeds (เคเฅเคฐเคพ).
- When cumin starts crackling immediately add chopped chilies, ginger (เค เคฆเคฐเค) and garlic (เคฒเคนเคธเฅเคจ). sautรฉ until the raw aroma of ginger (เค เคฆเคฐเค) goes away.
- Add chopped onion (เคชเฅเคฏเคพเค), sautรฉ them until they become translucent.
- now add salt (เคจเคฎเค) to taste, turmeric (เคนเคฒเฅเคฆเฅ) powder and mix well.
- Now add already stir fried potato (เคเคฒเฅ) and broccoli (เคฌเฅเคฐเฅเคเคฒเฅ) into it and mix well. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Now add roughly chopped tomatoes (เคเคฎเคพเคเคฐ).
- Mix well and add black pepper (เคเคพเคฒเฅ เคฎเคฟเคฐเฅเค) powder and chaat masala. Mix well.
- Cook until the broccoli (เคฌเฅเคฐเฅเคเคฒเฅ) tender little more.
- Your stir fried broccoli is ready. Enjoy it with Indian flat bread called Roti.
