You can have it as you main meal or a diet saladโ€ฆ both ways its goes perfect.

Stir Fry Broccoli tasty and healthy main course meal. Very easy to make; can go perfect as a main meal or diet salad.

Ingredients

  • Wash peel and dice cut potatoes (เค†เคฒเฅ‚). Keep aside in the water.
  • Wash and cut broccoli (เคฌเฅเคฐเฅ‹เค•เคฒเฅ€). Keep aside.
  • Wash peel onions (เคชเฅเคฏเคพเคœ), ginger (เค…เคฆเคฐเค•), garlic (เคฒเคนเคธเฅเคจ) and finely chop them. Keep aside.
  • Wash and chop chilies and tomatoes (เคŸเคฎเคพเคŸเคฐ). Keep aside.
  • In a heavy-based pan heat 2 tbsp. mustard oil (เคธเคฐเคธเฅ‹เค‚ เค•เคพ เคคเฅ‡เคฒ) and stir fry diced cut potatoes (เค†เคฒเฅ‚) till little golden brown. Sprinkle some salt (เคจเคฎเค•) over them while stir frying to get a good golden colour.
  • Take out the stir fried potatoes (เค†เคฒเฅ‚) on a plate. Keep aside.
  • Into the same oil (เคคเฅ‡เคฒ) pan stir fry broccoli (เคฌเฅเคฐเฅ‹เค•เคฒเฅ€) by sprinkling some salt (เคจเคฎเค•) over it, till it’s tender a bit. Don’t cook broccoli (เคฌเฅเคฐเฅ‹เค•เคฒเฅ€) completely here.
  • Take out stir fried broccoli (เคฌเฅเคฐเฅ‹เค•เคฒเฅ€) into a plate. Keep aside.
  • Now in the same pan add cumin seeds (เคœเฅ€เคฐเคพ).
  • When cumin starts crackling immediately add chopped chilies, ginger (เค…เคฆเคฐเค•) and garlic (เคฒเคนเคธเฅเคจ). sautรฉ until the raw aroma of ginger (เค…เคฆเคฐเค•) goes away.
  • Add chopped onion (เคชเฅเคฏเคพเคœ), sautรฉ them until they become translucent.
  • now add salt (เคจเคฎเค•) to taste, turmeric (เคนเคฒเฅเคฆเฅ€) powder and mix well.
  • Now add already stir fried potato (เค†เคฒเฅ‚) and broccoli (เคฌเฅเคฐเฅ‹เค•เคฒเฅ€) into it and mix well. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
  • Now add roughly chopped tomatoes (เคŸเคฎเคพเคŸเคฐ).
  • Mix well and add black pepper (เค•เคพเคฒเฅ€ เคฎเคฟเคฐเฅเคš) powder and chaat masala. Mix well.
  • Cook until the broccoli (เคฌเฅเคฐเฅ‹เค•เคฒเฅ€) tender little more.
  • Your stir fried broccoli is ready. Enjoy it with Indian flat bread called Roti.
